I feel like I haven't been able to get on VJ like I used to --- work is kicking my #######. I'm headed to Belgium in 2 weeks for work and there is so much planning that needs to be done and I think I'm literally going to kill my supervisor if she steps to me #######-eyed tomorrow. Pray for me (or her)!

BTW, I finally filed me and AW's K1 today!! I'm so excited that another part of our journey is finally underway -- let's get this party started!!!!!

I'm excited for all of y'all headed to JA this month...can I hitch a ride with one of y'all?!

I bought deep wavy, or wet and wavy or whatever its called, and since i dont have the energy to sit for a whole head of zillions, someone suggested im not sure who, i think may be quana, im gonna get singles in the front, top and sides and then get a sew in for the rest, and just wear it in a ponytail. the forecast looks like rain everyday from what i see, so i hope i dont wind up looking like a dyam poodle...LOL

mrsP, when i was on a job hunt for TX, i had much difficulty getting any leads. seems people prefer that you live in the area and arent to receptive to out of state job hunters. Now AZ, i got friends snatching up jobs there left and right i considered there as well, but i dont want to make any major plans until i figure out what me and D are gonna do.

This is so true. My sister (who currently lives in Norcross) was telling me that she has a friend who works in HR down in GA and she said they don't even look at resumes with out of state addresses. I'm like #######? So, in updating my resume I just use my sister's address and give my cell. If they got any other questions, I figure they will call...and I can sweet-talk my way into a job then!

That's true. We wanted to move to ATL so I've applying for jobs as well. No agency wrote me back. A few of my friends moved down there 2 years ago and it took them the longest time to find jobs.

i printed up some docs to start the process for me and D, and plan on taking them when i go monday, but i guess i keep thinking if i file in january, but at the same time i wonder what im waiting on??? i hope this trip gives me some more clarity???

You're just exhausted and overwhelmed with all that's going on...plus with the realization that this may or may not be a "make-it-or-break it" trip as far as the direction of your relationship is concerned, kinda takes all the zing out of it, and makes it a little more stressful. Trust me, when you're sitting in the airport in FL...all of your heat will rain down upon you in one big swoosh, and I will be there with a cooler in hand!

and Brokaw keeps saying something about the time everytime Obama says something and McCain is going over his time just as much..

And don't feel bad, I haven't packed either...I'm just gonna throw some stuff in a small suitcase and pray it all matches...that's what's bad about returning to JA soooo many times...after a while, you don't care what you take down there or how crazy you look half the time!

girl i hope so, in previous weeks we would be on the phone , ooh babying one another and now here i am 5 days out and not even excited. I usually start early on with the packing and buying stuff to take, now i dont feel like im gonna have time to adequately prepare. Not to mention, i work a half day on saturday, so when i get off work i still gotta arch, soak, shave , wax, paint, glue and lotion up all the vital areas. Alll that preening is gonna take some time...Lol
