Visa Reception Poll

Hey guys! I just want to take a poll and see how long after the interview it took everyone to get the visa in the mail. Consular officer told my husband a month in Cairo embassy, it's been 3 weeks and they responded to our email with "The case is pending the officer's final review. We will process the case to conclusion once that is completed." Hope that is not administrative processing! Anyway, thank you guys, have a great day!!

As you know, I don't have my visa yet, but I can't tell you how crazy it makes me to see someone post on here with a question that could be answered but isn't....

I know from talking to others that it takes anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks to get that visa in the mail, regardless of what they tell you at the embassy durring the interview.

I tell you what, in about 6 weeks, I will post this same question, and you can answer me

You can follow the timelines and get an idea. That's what we did.

We were told in February 11th after the interview that we would get the visa in 2 weeks but we got the visa June 30th.

We got your above message for 4 months.

There were numerous security checks with CONDOR, MANTIS, NCIC, etc....
