About to file AOS, question about Family name

My fiance and I just got married yesterday and now we are going to file the AOS and EAD. My question is what should i put for my fiances last name? She is going to take my family name but we have not legally changed it yet. Do i need to put her family name or can i put mine? Please help!

12/23/08 AOS Package Sent

12/26/08 Package Received at Chicago Lock-Box

01/05/09 Check Cashed

01/27/09 Biometrics

Hi, congrats!

When I applied for AOS, I used my husbands last name and included our marriage certificate for the AOS forms, EAD and AP. I filled out all the forms with my new last name. I have since then received documentation from USCIS that has my new married name on it so I'm guessing that is all it takes for them to aknowledge it and issue you your green card with your new married name.

GOT THE VISA!!!!! MAY 14, 2008

July 6/08 - Crossed the border - they let me in!!

July 12/08 - Wedding day - it was perfect!

July 23/08 - Back from Honeymoon in PR - now onto AOS?!?!?!

Sept 3/08 - AOS package in the mail - what a headache!

Sept 9/08 - 3 NOA's for AOS, EAD and AP

Sept 30/08 - Biometrics appointment for AOS and EAD

Nov 13/08 - Touch on AOS and EAD

Nov 17/08 - AP shows up in the mail

Nov 17/08 - EAD card production ordered

Jun 25/09 - Green Card Production ordered - Finally after 10 months!

June 30/09 - Received welcome letter!

July 10/09 - GREENCARD! - All done for a bit now!

May 20/11 - Sent in I-751 for removal of Conditions

Since she is going to use your family name she can just fill in the form using your family name her last name . The form there is a line for other name use which she will fill in her maiden name. You marriage certificate is enough for the change of name.

You don't have to do anything to "legally change" your wife's name. She can just simply start using your last name on all the USCIS applications and use her Marriage Certificate to show why her name changed.

She will, of course, have to change her name on bank accounts, credit cards, drivers licence, etc. She will need to provide a copy of your MC for that. But other than these kinds of things, you don't do anything to do a name change through marriage.

Thanks a bunch for the info and the congratulations ! I'll just use my family name on all the applications/forms. Just need to pick up the MC once its ready...man i hate all these damn forms...
