I-130 and I-129F approved but want to follow CR1, but K3 already forwaded to ISL Consulate yesterday!!

Hi All,

Really confused on how to go about this. Both our petitions were approved on the 19th and sent to NVC. NVC forwaded the I-129F to Islamabad consulate yesterday! We want to just follow the CR1 route now since it was approved. What should we be doing? What are the options?

Can I ignore any coressponence that we receive for the k3? like the packet 3 which we are supposed to be receiving? If i ignore this for the CR1 route will it just cancel everything all together?

Or, do i need to just follow the k3 too and hope that the CR1 interview is before the k3 interview?

please help!!

You can pursue either one or both in parallel. Ignore correspondence from whichever visa you don't want to pursue.
