Hyd did you try writing to your congressman or Senator? I already contacted my senator, just because it takes them 3 weeks to do an inquiry for you. I am just trying to get ahead of the waiting game... But I dont know if that is possiable huh... we are in Limbo :(

Am sorry you are waiting so long not fair.... Do you know if it's a name check?? It's not fair at all!!! :(

I guess we have to have more patience my friend and pray more hard!!

i was told to wait 4-6 weeks.. and nothing! i ts been over 2 months :(

9-2-08- last update to case,told by DOS

12-12-08 emailed chennai embassy asking status of our case, and got email to send passport..

12-15-08 submitted passport to vfs

12-19-08 VISA ISSUED! in hand!

12-25-08 hubbys arrival! smooth POE!

1-16-09 green card arrives

1-27-09 SSN card in mail

So I finally got a copy of my husband's Form, it must be an older version or maybe newer.. Not sure, but it has the most Harsh wording on it, no wonder my husband thought the worst.

Beside it stateing that:

X Section 221(g) which prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act or regulations issued pursuant thereto. The following remarks apply in your case*

Your application requires administrive processing and/or additional clearance. Our office will call you as soon as this processing is complete. If you do not hear from us within 10 weeks of your application, you may send an email to check on the status of your case.

*WARNING: IF YOU FAIL TO TAKE THE ACTION REQUESTED WITHIN ONE YEAR FOLLOWING VISA DENIAL UNDER SECTION 221(G) OF THE IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT SECTION 223(G) OF THE ACT REQUIRES THAT YOUR APPLICATION BE CANCELLED.

Has anyone else receieved this type of form? it's not blue, but plain white....

well he got a white one too that stated all the same things in it...EXCEPT hearing from them within 10 weeks and emailing...it has been 5months in AP, and I have bombarded them with emails not only from me, but from the congressman, senator and attorney as well..I mean for a while you sit back and wait, then you start to feel like you arent doing enough..now I feel there is nothing we can do.

Also I dont remember seeing this WARNING..however, let me make sure and check that

and my husband got 221g 2x...one time for 12 days for K3 (he got that visa) and now 5months

as far as why we are in AP after receiving a visa already...DONT ASK... :ot:

Just found out that, beside the CO beside not giving him the option of having the interview in Arabic, he also didn't let my hubby take all the relationship Evidence he brought with him to the interview.... :( I spent a lot of money on that package.... I will be indicting that in my letter ot my congressman

I requested the help of congressman and senator. I am not sure if it helps at all cuz they keep getting the same responses I do. I did do though. It is best that you really think about what you want to say and state your dissatisfaction to the letter. I felt so much better when I did.

I know about spending a ton of money copying, translating, gathering and sending documents...it is too tidious, worrisome and expensive. THIS WHOLE PROCESS IS..nada one of those CO's give a rat's behunkus for us.
