Naaa, we are just the sh!tnitz and super intelligent Mexicans B) , and a response to your comments; not just illegals were easy targets but I guess is too hard to notice since all those people that are loosing their houses are just illegal aliens huh?

Losing, not "loosing". ;)

I never said that only illegals are losing their homes, but it doesn't help your cause to deny the fact that many illegals are getting hit as well.

I'm amazed indeed

What are you so amazed about?

But in what states are they not being verified for status? Where do you want to go with it since like I said... people that work with illegals frequently state the illegals tend to pay for their properties (mostly) cash. Perhaps it is they who should be teaching the rest of us a lesson or two.

Illegal Mexicans are an easy target for predatory lenders - you can really fukc them and they won't complain.

And the worst part about it is that many of the predatory lenders were "de la raza" and ellos jodieren bien a los de mas de su raza. The number of illegal aliens getting loans is fairly low. The number of low-income Hispanics getting crappy loans due to ignorance, mis-placed trust in someone of their own race, poor English skills is fairly high in my neighborhood.

It angers and saddens me to see hard working people getting pimped on loans by unscrupulous characters.

It's a similar situation to gang infested neighborhoods. In general on who do the gangs prey? those of their own race/ ethnic group.

That is also true. Those that prey will always flow like water- down the path of least resistance.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

I often wondered why those with a fraction of the income we have were living so high on the hog (duh).

I think I'll find satisfaction with the simple things in life and enjoy the flowers.

Greed - what those who prey are guilty of

Consumerism without heed to the consequences- the mentality that the US is exporting to the rest of the world with grave repercussions

Covetousness - got to keep up with the Jones, must impress

Pride of Life - finding worth in things

Laziness - lack of work or study ethic

Entitlement - I deserve the American dream (cell phone, nice cars, house, meals out, vacations, etc.)

Financial illiteracy - whatever happened to delayed gratification?

Foolishness - the get rich quickly folly

Lack of character

Irresponsibility - leaving others to pay your way ( a form of stealing). A lady told me a couple of months ago that she was depressed because she 'had' to file bankruptcy. I couldn't help but notice the newly remodeled kitchen in her less than ten year old home. I think she should return those high-end appliances to their rightful owners. If I came across as unsympathetic, I was. Bankruptcy ought to be reserved for those who came into financial tragedy through no fault of their own, and have no way to repay their creditors (such a severe disability). I know another family that were victims of a business partner who embezzeled huge amounts of money. They could have taken the easy way out, but instead have chosen to live very simply for many years and to pay every creditor every dime. True character. I have utmost respect for them.

I know a family who had a policy of never borrowing for anything. They didn't start out rich. They lived frugally. They took care of their belongings they did have (and still do). They still spend their money wisely.

They taught their kids the difference between needs and wants. They made them wear off label jeans (horror of horrors). They gave them experiences rather than things. Guess what - they have the nicest vacation home I've ever been in that they built it with their own hands. I addition to top-notch college educations, their kids have a wide range of practical skills and are very productive members of society. I am very fortunate to have a daughter married to one of them. What is wrong with eating beans and rice? The people I know who are truly rich have been in the habit of it for years.
