I read in Health magazine (I think?) that monthly breast self exams aren't necessary anymore...maybe I read it online...hmmm...I know I posted it in one of the say anything threads.

Maybe so, however a lump could be one of the FIRST signs in alot of cases.....Doing a BSE wether a mag says it's ness or not is better than doing nothing and waiting until you are forty and get a mammo every other year, you know?

I read the article and thx for posting it, Amby.

BUT- IMO ( of course) BSE are a way to detect BC often before it's time for the yearly screening mammo.

I still say and will always say ...women everywhere

do whatever you can to reduce your risk of dying from this wretched disease!

Detection is not the only key.

It is secondary to nutrition.

If people do not raise their awareness of the food they eat and where it comes from and what is sprayed on it and if it is a GMO/GMF,

then well, people are taking their chances.

An aside:

And please recycle your plastic water bottles and stop using/buying them.

Get a glass bottle to fill up from home and take it with you...if you are the type to need to buy water often.
