I have to leave this little chat now because I am no longer between NOA2 and interview!!! My interview was fine and I was in and out of the Embassy pretty quick, so now just waiting for the visa delivery. Yay!! I will try and post a review of my interview soon but it keeps telling me I must be registered first, which quite clearly I am! Will keep trying. Good luck to the rest of you still waiting for interview and safe travels.

Hi, my fiance and I are preparing the documents we need for the packet 3 as we anticipate our NOA2 soon and want to be prepared. We had a few questions and I thought you guys might have the answers as you have just been through it.

1) So with the checklist do we send back DS-230 part 1, DS-156 ( 2 copies) unsigned, DS-156K unsigned, and DS-157. IS that everything?

2) How many passport style photos so we need and do we include them with the documents we send back or hold on to them until the interview or do both?

Thanks for your help in advance, we really appreciate any help you can offer!

September 11, 2008...sent I-129F to CSC

September 16, 2008...received NOA 1 in mail

January 9, 2009.........received NOA 2 via email

May 5, 2009...............K-1 approved

June 5th 2009............Married!

August 14, 2009.........Aos sent

Hello all! I am from chicago and my fiance from manchester and we just received our noa2....so i am in the process of getting together our packet 3.

I actually asked this question about this packet.....so here is a answer for you!

NVC will forward your case to the UK embassy/consulate. They will send you Packet 3. Includes a checklist with documents you will need at the interview and some forms to fill out. After returning the checklist/forms you will get Packet 4 with an interview appointment.

Have a look at the embassy info:

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...&cty=London

Packet 3 contents:

DS-230-I Part I

DS-156 x2 (Full out online to generate barcode http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/...electronic.html - Add photo to each, do not sign)

DS-156K (Do not sign)

DS-157 (Male only)

IV-15 Checklist

Information on how to book your medical

Packet 4 contents:

Appointment Letter

Instructions for interview/medical

Medical Questionnaire

Payment slip for £65 for visa processing

Hope that helps you!!!!

oh wow what a great forum. I just received my approval jan 14 so I'm waiting for the actual letter. My fiancee lives in Sheffield England. So he should be receiving his packet 3 soon I hope. I think they should give you instruction on what to do. He is not good at filling out paperwork...lol...Hopefully if there are any questions there is some one here that can help me help him. Do I need to send him a passport photo of me. I sent my in with the I129 do they need another one. And what else will I have to send to him. Any information would be greatly appreciated. As for London think he will stay with his brother who lives in brighton. He is about 5 hours away from london. But his brother lives about 40 min so I think his brother will tell him where to go for medical and interview does anyone know if they can be scheduled the same day or a day ahead of interview. Thank you....

to be able to be approved for your visa they must have confirmation that you have passed your medical, it takes i think 4 working days to get the results from medcal and get it sent to interview (the docs do all this for you) i think some have had medical on same day, but ment they left approved pending medical results ( i think that is the right word for it  ) also after the petition i did not need a passport photo of Vito just me. they have a copy of your approved petiton there, they didnt ask for me to provide mine.

the medical only lasts about an hour or so too so he could always just go for the day for that ...

That would be great if he could do it in one day or at least two days from each other. But I dont want that to hold him up for getting his visa because doesnt it take at least 2 or 3 days for them to get the medical.

Hello everyone! We got our NOA2 in mid December and everything has been going smoothly. Sebastian finished his medical early and packet 3 arrived last week. Sent packet 3 back last week, now we're just waiting on our interview date! Any ideas as to typical wait times once all the paperwork/medical stuff is in? I'm hoping we'll hear what our interview date is by the end of the month. Is that realistic?

I hope everything is going well with all of you :).
