Hi.

I'm just wondering who is with me? I'm sure there are a few. . .

Happy days.

Hi there :)

We're currently awaiting Packet 3 from London...seems to be taking forever.

-Kelly

How de we get in touch with the London embassy? I want to find out if they sent out our packet 3.

Hello,

Please take a look at the link below for the embassy. You will need to call the number they provide and they will give you a email code that is good for one week to make inquaries about your case. From what I've heard they will not answer questions on the phone.

http://london.usembassy.gov/

Good luck & I wish you a speedy journey!!

I called the Department of State and they gave me the dates things were received and sent out. They're VERY helpful and, dare I say it, friendly. 1-202-663-1225 press 1 and then 0...it'll bypass all the instructions for other things and get you in line to talk to a Visa Officer. Have your case number and your social security number on hand...and also birthdates of you and your fiance. Good luck!! :)

But that dumb phone they have on there says that they only take calls from within the UK. And my husband is at work during their regular business hours. Has any one had any luck reaching the london emabssy calling from the states, and if so what number was it?

Finally we received our Packet 3 today. This after the Embassy mis-mailed it and it got lost. Meh. Anyway...here's hoping we can get a fast interview date as we'll be ready to send the packet back tomorrow. *crosses fingers*

Good luck to you all.

It's getting tiring for me, I'm still waiting for our case to reach NVC - it's been 3 weeks.

Hang in there it took us about 3 months to get sent to NVC. You should calls the

USCIS director s office at 202-272-8000 . Our case was stuck after ir was approved and finally after calling the directors office we saw some action on it. Hopefully they can help you out.

Thank you too! I will call them also.

Well, we're still waiting. Sent application on 14th Feb and it's been slow sailing.

The final packet has been sitting in London FOREVER it seems--he has a person he can talk to there by phone (the guy even gave him his extension number). "It's in the pipeline." "Stay near home every Thursday and Friday and wait for the phone call telling you that the courier is coming that day." (Apparently the courier with the interview date letter only delivers in the North on TH and FRI).

Going onto the third week of this waiting by the phone on TH and FRI. Getting extremely discouraged as nothing has happened since he had his medical and he passed and sent in the forms a long time ago.

Our lawyer wants to try talking to them -- I'll have Pete give her the guys' number -- don't know if anything will work at this point.

Hey y'all!!

Just got packet 3 today!! And I think other than my medical I am all set to send but unfortunately I am going to have to sit on it for a couple of weeks or I'll end up being in the US on the day they want me in the UK for my interview - there's always a catch!! lol.

Two questions while I am here, does anybody know if the Packet have any sort of expiry date (I hope it won't grow mold)? And secondly if I arrange the medical and they send the results through to the embassy will that automatically trigger the system to arrange my interview date or will they wait for me to send in my checklist as per instructions??

Good luck one and all.

Andy
