has anyone ordered a spare birthcertificate on line? how long does it take and does anyone get that how code thingy that knocks a couple of quid off the price?

Took 11days to get a copy birth cert from ordering online (www.gro.gov.uk) £10, or £7 if you supply GRO index reference.

You can pay more to have it sent priority service £26 (or £23 with GRO ref) if ordered by 4pm will be sent next day.

Good luck to you all.

It's getting tiring for me, I'm still waiting for our case to reach NVC - it's been 3 weeks.

Hang in there it took us about 3 months to get sent to NVC. You should calls the

USCIS director s office at 202-272-8000 . Our case was stuck after ir was approved and finally after calling the directors office we saw some action on it. Hopefully they can help you out.

Hello,

Please take a look at the link below for the embassy. You will need to call the number they provide and they will give you a email code that is good for one week to make inquaries about your case. From what I've heard they will not answer questions on the phone.

thanks. I ordered mine on sunday, and ordered it on standard service thinking it would be ten days to return, but i didnt put that index thingy in cos i didnt know where to find it. only to realise if no index it would take 15 days standard service without index thingy but i had already paid by that point so too late. never mind though its expected around the 3rd november and if thats too late i will have to go with my soft delecate tissuey old one. but i havent got my medical booked yet so we will see.

When is it safe to book the medical? Is it ok to get it done before packet 3 or do you have to wait till packet 3 is returned to the london embassy? Also in the affidavit of support does one have to make 25k (texas income poverty line) before of after taxes?

apparently you just need your ldn number to book the medical. but they like you to have packet three, so they can go through it with you. thats what they told cca when she tried to book the first time.

i thought the poverty income was prior to taxes but someone else will have to confirm that
