i just called NVC right now and the operator said that they are reviewing my paper and that they sent a letter to my husband i think its a checklist letter coz they dont have my AOS and that theyre just waiting for it... but my hubby already sent it in July and i know myself that they have it... do u think guys they really dont have it or theyre just doing this to delay the process? is t really an RFE or just a false RFE? pls help me guys... its killing me now.. arrgggggrrr... :angry:

02/27/12 - NOA1 petition received(hubby's birthday!)

06/06/12 - NOA2 stating I-130 approved

06/29/12 - NVC received case

07/09/12 - case entered in the system,assigned MNL # and IIN,email add given

07/12/12 - beneficiary emailed DS-3032, auto response received

07/18/12 - AOS fee bill/paid "IN PROCESS"

07/20/12 - AOS fee bill shows "PAID", mailed AOS package

07/25/12 - received AOS

07/25/12 - IV Fee Bill Invoiced, paid $230.00 "IN PROCESS"

07/26/12 - IV Fee bill shows "PAID"

07/28/12 - mailed IV Package

08/03/12 - received DS 230 packet

08/14/12 - sent RFE

08/16/12 - NVC received RFE

08/21/12 - log in failed

08/22/12 - case complete!

There is no crystal ball to tell you whether or not this is a 'real' RFE.

If it is 'false' they are referring to not receiving your DS-230 yet - or acknowledging it yet, so the fact that you sent in your affidavit of support in July is irrelevant.

The only way you will know what the recorded message really means - is to call and speak to an operator at NVC and ask.

The AVR is not updated. would you believe we still don't have a case number...DUH??? :blink:

My husband called and spoke to a REAL person...our AOS is approved. They are just waiting for the DS230s. So i suggest you do the same...talk to a human. :D

12-09-08 - INTERVIEW @ 6:30AM...God be with us! --- APPROVED!!!

12-11-08 - VISAS RECEIVED....YAHOOOOO!!!

04-07-09 - POE: Chicago O'hare

04-28-09 - received SSN's (after having to apply for them personally!!!!)

01-07-09 - ROC, here we come!!!

I had a false RFE on the recording after submitting my ds230. Spoke to the operator and it was the request for the ds230 as it had not yet been entered into the system. Hope yours is similar.

If he sent it in July and they still don't have it, it must be genuinely lost. It should only take a few days for it to be entered into their system. It's a good time to send in another one. Make sure the bar codes and other details on the cover form are correct.

oh my oh my.... i spoke to a live operator and thats what she said,that they dont have the AOS! how come it got lost?? ahuhuhu

has anyone been in this situation?

if thats the case,he can send it again but the problem is he sent the originals of th docs. and now was 'missing'... he did not make a copy so he doesnt have the documents needed for AOS.... where can he get his Tax return tanscripts and everything needed for AOS?

From the IRS, do a google search for irs tax transcripts.

If he has already sent it then he will already know what he needs to send and where to get it?

Have him call them, tell them that the NVC lost your documents (so they will know why he is requesting them again and they might go out of their way to assist), he can ask them to fax him the transcripts.
