DS-230 - who is the RESPONDENT??

Hi,

I have finished the DS-230 part 2 except for one question...the respondents address and phone number. Forgive me, but its been a while since we filledin any forms. Who is the respondent? My husband, the American citizen or me, the UK citizen???????

My interview is on wednesday - please help!

25 Aug 2005 - Sent to London Consulate

10 Sep 2005 - Recieved packet 3

13 Sep 2005 - Scheduled medical

15 Sep 2005 - Sent back packet 3 forms

04 Oct 2005 - Medical in Birmingham

14 Oct 2005 - Recieved offical interview letter.

31 Oct 2005 - Interview date...VISA ISSUED!!!

04 Nov 2005 - K3 Visa received!!!

19 Nov 2005 - Arrived in US on K3 visa, yea!!!

I-130

07 Jul 2005 - Sent I-130 to Vermont

19 Jul 2005 - Received NOA1

30 Aug 2005 - APPROVED!!!

11 Feb 2006 - Sent I-186 and DS-230

02 Mar 2006 - RFE for missing W2's from I-864 package.

04 Mar 2006 - Send off W2's

20 Mar 2006 - petition has been sent to London

31 May 2006 - Visa interview

02 Jun 2006 - CR-1 Visa recieved!!!!!!!!

06 Jun 2006 - back 'home' to US

16 Jun 2006 - Received social security no.

14th Jul 2006 - Received Green Card!!!

Err, I don't see: Respondent anywhere on DS-230 part 2, What question number would that be?

UK Citizen is Visa Applicant and US Citizen is Petitioner. Look in the sample forms and you can get a good idea of what goes where. :)

8-12-2004 I moved to New Zealand(married my Kiwi in US 5/04)

1-12-2006 Received initial packet - It has I-130, I-864 & DS-230 Part 1, DS-2001 & tons of instructions.

Gathering paperwork that we don't have:

5-30-2006 - I-130 FILED AND ACCEPTED BY AUCKLAND CONSULATE!- INTERVIEW: 6/13/2006

6-13-2006 - APPROVED!usaCa.gifnew_zeaC3.gif

6-14-2006 - VISA IN HAND D_SMIL112.gif

08-05-2006 -WE ARE HOME IN THE USA!!! flag12.gif

THREE HAPPY YEARS LATER:

5-10-09 - N-400 filed

8-24-09 - Interview

9-14-09 - Naturalization Oath Ceremony

Do you mean "Petitioner" in question 29? If you look at this example, it looks like the USC would be the petitioner. Hope this helps! Good luck on your interview :thumbs: ttyl,

We stopped pursuit of CR-1 to pursue K3/AOS. For us, both required the same document, we could only have one valid copy, and the K3 was moving faster.

If you are doing a CR1, only part 1 should be sent back. Part II is to be completed at the embassy.

No worries, you can ask them there.

The US Citizen is the petitioner. Good Luck with the interview.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
