hi!

i just need some words of inspiration. i'm very confused why am i required to have 2 document verification? and how long will it take for me to receive my visa.

i'm, in IR1, i had my interview last sept. 18. paid debros twice, first was aug. 26 and the second was sept 18 after the releasing officer told me to pay another dv.

i called delbros about the dv request, he told me that the request was with nso since sept.3. i called us embassy and talked to grace, asked her about 2 dv, and she was shocked that i need to dv. i asked her if they need to send the 2nd request for my dv but she replied that is a case to case basis.

do you have any same case i have, please enlighten me. thanks!

I think we have the same problem...Is that the 600 pesos you have to pay for the verification?pls let me know coz until now im still waiting.

it is the 650 pesos, but i'm wandering why i was required to have 2 dvs and what's the process for having 2 dv, does the us embassy need to send another request for the 2nd document?

After you paid DV the first time, did you text delbros and received 2 texts from them (receipt of payment and acknowledgment)? Coz if your DV was with NSO since Sept 3... that means your DV is in process. Did you bring the duplicate copy of the deposit slip from metrobank on the day of your interview? Coz i think you just need to pay once.

yes i texted delbros regarding my 1st payment and i received a confirmation from them.

i submitted the duplicate copy of my deposit slip to the releasing officer, but she still asked me to pay another one 'coz in my white paper, there was DOCX2 written on it, and the releasing officer told me that the consul asked for 2 dvs.

Perhaps its for your child? Coz if you have a kid going with you, you have to pay for their DV too.

I too was asked to pay DV twice. My white slip indicated DOCX2. Delbros confirmed initial DV sent to NSO Sep. 5. Second DV was confirmed on Sep. 19. I'm still waiting for my visa.

my son is USC already, does he still needs the dv?

TO JOSE RIZAL: how did you get confirmation on the 2nd DV? do you know what documents need for verification?

i just called us embassy and talked to grace, this was the 2nd time i call her. after being "makulit" to her and after making "bola", she gave information about my visa, and answered my questions. my 1st dv was already with nso last sept 3 and my 2nd dv was received by nso last sept 23. no results yet from nso even my 1st dv. the waiting time for dv is 4-6 weeks from the date nso received the dv request and another 2-4 weeks for the consul to review it, that's according to grace.

now i can say that all i need to do is to wait for my visa coz i already know the answer to my questions.

thank you so much for replying my post and for sharing your experiences with me. rest assured, that i will do the same with you guys.

By chance did you ask about the causes of the backlog in USEM. Alam naman natin na talagang mabagal ang NSO.
