DesiMan, I notice that we have the same touches, at I129 - 11,13 and 14 July and at I130 29 and 30 September. I hope now that October month going to be a positive month for all of us.

Let's hope for approval! I guess it's rare to see almost identical touches on two different NOAs!

It is good to see VSC doing something (Even if it is moving the files around :P )

Haaaa I'm rolling that is so true!

I called USCIS on 9/12/08 to apply for an expedite because of financial hardship. Of course the person who answered the phone advised it wasn't possible, but after pleading as to how others have applied as well and were approved because of financial hardship. She entered my case and provided an Expedite # and confirmed I would recv a decision by 9/17/08. NOTHING!!! No touches on line, no evidence of any movement on my case. I am pondering whether I should call them again, but I don't want to rock the boat even if you know what I mean. Any advice from the group how I should handle the expedite request is definately welcome. I am just hoping someone picks up my folder and works on this case as its great to see others getting touches and approvals with similar time-lines. It's very stressful but I have faith!

Lets hope we see more touches this week! :)

VSC, READ THAT!! Do NOOOOOT dare forget Marcherssssss

:angry:

I've noticed that several April filers had their I-130 touched...I wonder this is start of something good or simply re-organizing of files on their end resulting in touches...god knows...we will find out soon. I hope.

Glad to see so many april filers are being touched and will get approvals soon, fingers crossed. Just hope the march filers dont get sucked into the black hole or something. goodluck to all.

2/9/09 AOS bill received and payed on line the same day.

Never received I-864 package (they don't mail them out anymore I had to take it all from NVC website)

2/20/09 completed and mailed DS-3032

((Some time lapsed because of wrong addresses and documents lost in the mail)) ARRRHG! :-(

3/13/09 Return completed I-864.

3/21/09 Received IV Bill.

3/22/09 Paid IV Bill $400.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
USCIS is unnecessary and a complete freaking waste of everybody's time. What did they do other than waste 7 months of our time and take money?-- because I now have to resubmit the exact same damn information(plus some) to NVC. Apparently there is no connection between USCIS and NVC so USCIS cant simply send our documents to NVC. I was happy to get approved by USCIS but now the process starts all over again only with more complications. Maybe someday I can meet these people in person and thank them face to face for f**ing up almost everything so far. Addresses incorrectly copied, email address repeatedly typed in wrong, names misspelled, ECT, ECT, ECT.
Hows about mandatory drug testing for all who are employed at NVC? All in favor?
Same here!
My husband (petitioner) called USCIS on 9/10/08 to apply for an expedite. After one hour of talking with the officer he got case number for expedite. Officer said that they make a decision by 9/25/08. Of course we didn't get any decision on 25th of September. Well, he called them back. He got information that our expedite request was deny. My husband was surprised because person he talked before said that we have enough reasons to expedite our case. Anyway he asked what was the reason of the deny. Well, they said the reason was only one. Like they said that beneficiary called for expedite instead of petitionary. :blink: Can you imagine my husbans face?! LOL Well, we applyed again and this time added one more reason tfor expedite-USCIS error. Still wating! No touches no anything! When my husband called them last time they promised to make a decision in 5-10 days. Honestly, I already don't believe that they will expedite our case. I lost any hope.
