Has anyone here flown Iberia? They're wicked cheap right now.

I flew them this summer and had an awful experience. I don't blame Iberia airlines but the Madrid airport. Just remember not to bring any duty free from the US if you're stopping in Madrid. I bought $200 worth of duty free in Tel Aviv, changed planes in Madrid to fly to Morocco, and had to go through security in Madrid even though I was just changing gates! They took away all my stuff and made me personally throw it in the trash. ARGH I was so pissed!!! :blush:

I just finished making my tres leches cakes and screwed one up! ARGHHHHHHHHHH! You are supposed to bake a cake, cool it, poke holes in it, then pour a milk syrup over the top. I poured it over while it was still hot!!!! I hope it turns out okay. I've never done that mistake before.

Luckily I decided to try two recipes and compare them both so the second one will come out correctly at least! :(

I, on the otherhand, had a WONDERFUL experience w/ Iberia! I even got bumped to 1st class on my return trip and had excellent service. Perhaps it had something to do w/ my sis's SIL who works in customs and had agents waiting to escort me when I arrived in JFK? I dunno, but I would fly them again for sure. :thumbs:
