JULY 2008 Filers!

hello everyone

We sent out our I-130 on June 5th, and received june 26. nothing is going on since.

I have read some other posting in VJ and it seems like Vermont Service Center is working on February and March. People who had filed during that time period their case was touched last week and some were approved as well. But lets hope they are working on June/July as well

I filed in July as well.........just barely. I sent the I-130 on July 29. I never got the NOA1 in the mail, but I did call & they were able to give me the date and receipt number over the phone. As of yet, I still have not recived the receipt, but have recieved the NOA1 on the I-129f. I'm not sure what happened, but............another mistake on USCIS's part I guess. I had even requested they send it again, but nothing yet. Oh well I know they are working on the case though cuz its been "touched".

There's 10 of us here with NOA1 date within 20-30 days...good range to track progress

I think VSC is now working on Mid April to Mid May Files....any Thoughts???

i filed in july and i then filed th ei-129f in aug and requested an expedite and they transferred the i-129f to the local office in los angeles on sep 19th and no word from them ever since. i called the congress office today and i spoked to a very very very rude lady , she was complaining and complaining and then she said ,when are we going to stop recieve calls from you guys, why can't you wait ?? and i said that i need surgerys and i can't wait anymore, and then she said that she doesn't care and she wont call and ask for me and for me to call after 6 months?????????? i just dont know what to do anymore, it has been little over three months and we been away from each other for two years now they deny our first i-130 because they lost half of my documents at the local office and then they start charging us $355 and the process is still the same ,infact its getting worse , i wish i can do something about it ,i guess we just have to wait and deal with it alone without any help

Sorry to hear you had a hard time with a rude agent... lets hope and pray that VSC starts getting their act together soon...

It's been my repeated experience that some people become embolden over the phone but face to face they squirm and wiggle. Is there any way you can put in a physical appearance?

I'm fortunate my congressman's office is a short drive from my home if I ever need to pay them a visit in the future.

This is taking so long. I can’t believe I have not had a single touch on the case since 7-11-08. I feel like they have forgotten about the case.

Have you heard any news? Nothing new on my end. Just trying to remain patient, but its hard when I see people who applied the same day as me and they already have an interview.

Applicants at California Service Center applicants are having interview, and we haven’t even been approved. What in the world is going on? Hopefully we hear something this month now that the election is over.
