The next step will be for fearful voters to turn to Obama and for the Democrats to solidify their hold on Congress. Expect Obama to given broad "emergency powers' that will go beyond anything Bush got. Why? Obama will inherit powers granted to Bush and Obama will have more power over the economy. The fear of terrorism has waned but the fear of losing your home and job with the added goodies of free health care will lead people to give Obama all the power he needs for "change".

Can you feel it? Even now people are freaking out and nothing has happened to them personally.

Actually my family from Dalton is complaining of this. However, I also don't live in an area that has hurricanes, so that's not exactly my fault either.

Quite frankly, whoever takes over as president will have an awful awful mess to cleanup. I think that the winner will become unpopular very quickly because of some tough decisions to be made.
