Actually my husband said the same thing a few days ago. He said I know it sounds out there and crazy, but what if this was all part of a terrorist plot. What better way to see problems in the US economy after crashing into the world trade towers, and this all playing out over years and now this. Of course it's just a conspiracy theory right now, not that he was so serious.

I think that will work if (and it's a huge 'if') people can tolerate their goods being more expensive. I don't think they can. Despite the benefits to their community, environment, etc, at the end of the day people want things cheap.

Sounds crazy and all kidding aside buts its unfortunatly most likely because of some corrupt business people who are more in love with money than anything else. I am sure they also think they are patriotic ... but obviously are far from it.
