And so...let's talk about this.

What if we all bartered and traded with each other.

Stopped with global agriculture and brought it back home and respected the soil and the plants and the animals...no pesticides, no antibiotics, no hormones.

Just real, fresh and pure.

Solar and wind power...even wave power...sustainable energy.

Get rid of anything requiring petroleum...yes that includes PLASTIC!!!!!

That would be a great start!

(Hey, this is just me typing faster than I can string the words together...in excitement of the possibilities.)

You're channeling the movie, The Postman.

Ha!

Something to look into.

I have never seen it.

i read that both the Republicans & Democrats did not support the bill, so it seems that both sides are in agreement in their disagreement so to speak.

United!

Good timing too, I'm thinking about a house. I hope the economy crashes much harder than this.

Well yippee for that 'as long as it doesn't affect me' attitude.

Heh. I think also it is too soon to know if it is going to effect you or me or whoever directly right now. Markets all over the Western Hemisphere are crashing. Who knows what tomorrow will look like when Asia and Europe wake up to give their opinion. I wouldn't be snatching the fiddle yet with a Mission Accomplished banner over the head.

the gop f##ked the economic ..for certain

That's funny because I remember VJ posters cursing the GOP as the party to bailout the rich brokering houses. Now they are agreeing with Bush against the GOP in Congress. Politics make strange bedfellows.

Dont listen to the politicians. In this case listen to knowledgable business people.

Aren't the knowledgable business people the ones who profited from this mess in the first place?
