hi all

i will be travelling to US on 13th december and my visa expires on 29th december.

1) do i have to get married before 29th december or within 3 months of my entry into US

2) If i get EAD at airport ,will it be valid only till 29th dec or will it be valid for 3 months after my entry into US

3) generally, how long does it take to get permanent EAd and travel docs??

4) i understand that 29th december is just the date before which i have to enter US.Are there any other things like marriage etc that i have to take care of

thanks

1) neither --- you need to get married within 90 days of entry (not the same as 3 months)

2) expires with the I-94 (90 days)

3) 90 days, but cannot file for them until after marriage. File for them with your AOS application.

1) 90 days from entry (as indicated on the I-94 that you will receive)

2) If received (big IF) it will be for 90 days from entry (as indicated on the I-94 that you wil receive)

3) marriage must occur first, then 60-90 days typical after application is submitted

4) No, the date on the I-94 will be the one you must pay attention to next.
