ya, I am so tired of waiting. I understand that USCIS received a lot of applications and they are working on them.

But, you know, all of us paid so much money and why does it take so long for them to just issue working permit? Some folks can get easily at the airport. I totally agree with that they are very carefully about AOS. Ok, but without work permission, I cannot get a license, I cannot work, I cannot even live normally in this economy. My husband is so concerned about it, too.

7/19 AOS package has been mailed

7/21 AOS package was arrived in Chicogo.

7/28 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

8/15 Biometric done

Trust me I know how agonizing it is, but I know our turn is coming...and it can be frustrating to see people that filed after us already receive they're ap/ead and we still haven't had any sign of it...but hold on, it'll be worth it in the end...The economy isn't that good now anyway so I guess in a weird way it's good that we don't have the ead yet because we still wouldn't be able to find a decent job LOL (just trying to find the positive in all of this  )

ya, that is totally true. Here in Southern Ca, a lot of college graduates are struggling to have decent jobs. My husband has a decent job, but his job hunting is being not good. He wants to change his job because he already had enough experience at his company, but nop.

For me, I am not expecting to have a wonderful job even though I have a BA from American university. I just do not want to miss this up coming holiday season. I do not care if it is temporary or what. I need some income. Otherwise, we will be in debt and debt. It is so bad.

I totally agree with you...The holiday seasons are important to us also (especially with kids) want them to enjoy it (but not forget the reason for the holiday)...anyway, i know things can only get better from here , so head up and trust God...
