i was checking my visa and i noticed that the family name of my fiance wasn't complete e.g. instead of BUSH it is BUS, and the abbreviated name of the state is changed. he's from WA and the visa is on CA although the zip code is correct. do i need to call the embassy for correction? or leave it as it is?

help! :bonk:

Nothing about the annotation will invalidate the visa. Use it as is.

My husband's family name was misspelled in the annotation and I tried having it amended by USEM but they told me that it will not be a problem since the Immigration Officer in your POE will verify the correct information from your brown packet and their system.I didn't had any problem in my POE. Good luck!!!
