I think the only way I can cope is being on a countdown till the next time I am going to see him, so I have booked a flight to Texas for the Christmas holidays.

We e-mail during the day and try to talk every day on the phone, although some days I do have to take a rain check due to the time difference

I think sharing all the day to day little things helps and taking lots of pics of what you are doing so you can share the experiences, so the other half feels included, it is hard talking bout people that they have never seen so send them a pic

It is hard but worth it and thank gof for VJ as you can make friends with people who know exactly what you are going through

Keep yourself busy.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Stay busy and just take it one day at a time. When I tried to think about all of the time as one it got overwhelming and I would get depressed. I tried to just not think about it...get through today and not worry too much about what was coming.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Keeping busy is the best advice. Also try to spend time with your family and friends. Getting ready for the next steps is useful too. You can research visa process and required docs for the London embassy and start preparing. That way when your petition is approved you don't waist much time. Believe me, I feel your pain! Just be strong, hopefully that approval won't take long for you guys :star:
