Look, this woman doesn't seem to have any brains. She'll be the joke of the nation Friday morning. I sure can't wait...

No life, huh?

Talking to yourself much?

I'm not a sheep of either candidate. I have better things to look forward to than Palin making a fool of herself.

18 is a respectable age for a bride??? In what decade? I think most Americans think that's WAY too young. Except for crazy Christians, who'll be voting for McCain anyway!

You're considered an adult at 18 in most states.

18 is too young to allow people to vote.

Eighteen is also old enough to join the military, so it should be old enough to marry.

Switch the order of the names and you'll be right. Gov who just got a passport and isn't allowed to talk off script vs. senator with years of foreign policy experience who forgot when the great depression was. iiiiineresting

Confidence is one thing, overconfidence another. I can't get past the sneaking suspicion that the GOP is setting Biden up for an ambush in the debate. Joe didn't just forget when the Great Depression was, he's forgotten a damn sight more, like when television was invented, that a friend of his was wheelchair-bound and not likely to stand in a month of Sundays, and so on. Whereas the GOP has let Palin loose in a couple of TV interviews, where she has been mediocre, to say the least. But those interviews have received widespread coverage and comment, and Biden's oopses have only been reported on conservative talk radio. An imbalance, or a way of making Sen. Biden more confident that his opponent in the debate won't be able to hold an argument with him?

I hope we get a debate and not a one-sided smackdown. And this time around, unlike the first presidential debate, I hope the two debaters talk about policies and the future and lay off the blame game for the past. Otherwise, I'm likely to tune these two out as well.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself
