Who name should be in the beneficiary field in NOA1?

In my case, they have put my name (petitioner) in the beneficiary field as well.

How does one go about correcting it or is this what I should expect at NOA1 stage till they open the application and put my fiancee's name further later in the processing.

Please help. Thanks.

Only the foreign fiancé's name should be listed as the Beneficiary and only the USC as the Petitioner. Review copies of what you sent in to be certain there's no mistake - then call customer service (is my advice).

On my NOA1, my name was in the petitioner slot and my fiance's name was in the beneficiary field. Your name should only be in the petitioner slot because you are filing for your fiance, not yourself.

I would gather up all the concerns you have about your NOA1, call the Customer Service number, and ask them about it all at once so you don't have to keep calling back and waiting. If you double-check the back of your I797C (NOA1), it says:

"INQUIRIES.

You should contact the office listed on the reverse side of this notice if you have questions about the notice, or questions about the status of your application or petition. We recommend you call. However, if you write us, please enclose a copy of this notice with your letter."

Hope that's helpful :) Good luck

Thanks. That's what I thought. I had triple checked that it was my fiancee's name in I-129F as well as in G325a her version of 4 copies.

Elgazhi - Have you called them and made the change. Is it easy. I am looking for someone who has done that to write their experience. Thanks.

No, I did not need to. I am the petitioner and my fiance is the beneficiary, so my information was correct. I just wanted to reassure you that your name should be in the 'petitioner' spot by sharing how information was filled in on my NOA1.
