You should bring all of those things, a letter from your employer, a rental agreement if you have one, phone bill. And, your K1 documents showing you've applied. Along with all of that and a return ticket, you should be okay. Seeing as you've been denied before, you'll want to be extra prepared.

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3)keep ur response short and to the point, dont tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5)pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isnt going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didnt lie! Refer to #1

Best of luck

You will probably be just fine. I carry a copy of my NOA1 just to prove I've filed but they've never asked for it.

I'm going to see my fiance in a couple weeks just decided hehe, anyway, what do i need to get past the border, before i started my k1 process i got denied because i didn't have a job to prove i was coming bk and it was early and couldn't get ahold of anyone that could tell them i was coming back, so now that i have started the process, is that going to come up when they run my passport? will i be flaged because of that last time? and what should i take with me, a letter from work? rental agreement? phone bill? i need to get through this time or im gonna go nutts.

I have visited my fiancee about 17 times over the past 2 years, and it's the same drill every time:

Customs: "What is the purposed of your trip"

ME: "Vacation"

Customs: "How long are you staying in the US?"

ME: "Until next (blank)"

Customs: "where are you staying?

ME: "At my GIRLFRIEND's (never say Fiancee unless they ask) place."

Customs (only asked a third of the time) "how did you meet?"

That's it. Simple. Don't volunteer more info than is necessary.
