Hi, Vjs!

Have a question: is anybody aware if the Embassy, especially in Brazil, keep booking interviews throughtout the holiday season or in case of they take a break, how long do they usually start arranging interviews...

The reason for my question is because I just about to get my case conclude at the NVC, and according to the timelines, my interview date will probably be schedule for anytime between november and december...

Thanks in advanced fpr any reply!

HI

We got our NOA2 on August 4th, but the interview is not until Oct 21. I have seen many not have to wait as long. I saw a bunch with NOA2 after us who had their interview before us.. Go figure? Hope that helps.. (at least now you know the WORST case scenario)

Boa Sorte!

Last year, my wife and I got our NOA 2 on December 13 and our interview was February 12. So, it took almost 60 days, and we had the holidays in between. One thing my wife did to speed up the process was mail out her packets as soon as we got the NVC numbers (by calling NVC instead of waiting for the mail).

Good luck and I hope time moves quickly for you!
