I'm listening to the lovely hum of electricity in the house - the computer, the refrigerator, the water cooler... I'm also listening to my neighbor doing his lawn.

However, soon I will probably turn on Car Talk & Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me on NPR!

I NEVER used to be able to live without music on. While I was online, in the bathroom getting ready, in the car/subway, etc. Now I notice myself more and more sitting in silence. What's happening to me?!?! Am I getting too old to remember to turn on music? haha

right now I am listening to the delightful combo of spongebob squarepants on the TV and a variety of cats chasing each other, a coughing baby, and the beep of the waffle iron telling me another waffle is done.

however, when I DO put my ipod on in a little while it will be Mami, Jason Mraz, Deathcab for Cutie, and probably Alanis Morissette. :)

Well, my project for later is to get on iTunes and check out "Simone" (Nina Simone's daughter) and download some of her stuff - she has an amazing voice! Other than that, I think I'll listen to a couple of mixes I have lined up - one is Rai, the other is Sacred Sufi music.
