Good morning all. It looks like another warm day here so we are going to do our final weekend of swimming before closing the pool. I still have to do laundry and shopping however.

Its still so hot here too! I think upper 80's...looks like beach/pool season is going to go welllllllllll into October (or November!) as usual!

October or November? I so want to live where you live! But it has been in the mid 80's here. It has been quite pleasant however. I can lay by my pool and can see the leaves changing in the mountains. What a beautiful sight!

JJ, I hope your time apart goes quickly and you can spend next fall together watching the leaves change.

Good morning *yawn*. Not the best day here but I'll try to keep busy and start a project around the house.

Sorry for you all who are sick! I'm just getting over a nasty chest infection myself. Yesterday was the first day I didn't cough my brains out. Woohoo!

Ironic, the timing of that, eh? ;)

My cat has WICKED bad gas from this new food! :wow:

hahaha gross! Why is it that you tried the prescription food again? Maybe if you tried store bought canned food, crushed the pill in there, it would taste better for the kitty. My cat has been taking meds for a long time now too and thats what I do. I'm sure it tastes like ####### but he eats it because he's a porker anyway! :star: And it also helps your relationship because if you're going to have to force a pill down her throat for the rest of her life its likely she'll start staying away from you after a while. It definitely strains relationships between parent-kitty going that route!

Hello from a rainy NY - have to do my laundry and finish paining kitchen cabinet doors. Yesterday I put a new "flooring" in the kitchen with a friend and waiting for it to settle in before I can come in and paint the rest of the kitchen. It will be so nice once I'm done but time is running out - Jamal is coming back from Morocco on October 9. Can't believe that the time passed by so quickly - I guess when I keep myself busy I haven't noticed that my 2.5 month "vacation" is over...:whistle:

dorothy what kind of floor did you put in? I'm sprucing things up also in that area.

Since my apt is a rental and I am low on funds we just put self-adhesive vinyl tiles, nothing special - just to freshen up the space. What I really want at ceramic tiles but who knows maybe one day - I'll make sure that I'll consult you on some ideas...
