We sent the AOS/EAD/AP off in the mail today. Seeing as we are in Chicagoland, shouldn't take too long for it to arrive at the office, right.....

Of course, after I mailed it and returned home, I began to wonder if I had done this or included that.......did I sign everything........ . Too late to think about all that now...it's gone and I'm praying for a pass to CSC.....

Aww Kelly don't worry too much about it If you looked at everything and double checked before you sent it, then it's all gonna be alright

I know it's easier to tell others not to worry....and I was a worry mess myself until I got my GC...lol

I keep reminding myself that at least this time we get to wait together! It does make it easier...and yet, not entirely. AOS eems to move much faster than the I-129F so far at least.

Try not to think to much of the AOS package and whether or not you did it right. Most important is you are with your husband. The hard part, waiting to get to be with your husband, is over.

Happy waiting - the nicer part (ok, waiting is never nice, just trying to be positive here) is that you can look online...vs the nasty Montreal wait when you're in the dark! If you get arequest for something, no biggie as soon as you send it back in, they're pretty good about getting back on track - from my experience anyway.

Enjoy the time off....in hind sight I wish I had more (enjoyed it that is, not time off!)...of course at the time you don't know how long it will be and that can be stressful

I'm with ya sister! I just mailed mine this morning. I can't believe it took me so long to finish it! But at least it's done and now we wait. Here's to transfers, no RFE's, and speedy approvals for us all!

I'm already regretting spending my months in limbo depressed and apathetic instead of treating it like a vacation, and I just got my EAD on Friday! If I had known that I only had X number of months left, I could have enjoyed myself instead of being stressed about how the process was going and if we were going to get another RFE, etc.

I was in the dark because my case wasn't showing up online, and I was getting very upset at the prospect of the RFE delay. If I'd known there was a light at the end of the tunnel speeding my way, I could have enjoyed my time off.

And what d'you mean, hoping for a transfer to CSC? In our case, it means that it's going to take even longer to get stuff done, and we'll still probably have to go to Dallas for an interview.
