Our I-130 got approved! Off to NVC we go! Thank God it was moved to CSC, I think we would still be pending if it were at VSC. Only a little more to go.

I hope for speedy approvals for everyone else still waiting!

Congrats!! you are lucky to get the lotto jackpot, while other are still hangin' here, I'm feb filer, we're closer to 8 mos now,and still case pending..& waiting for miracle to happen, sometimes i'm thinking if they lost our papers or just stuck in there untouched. Did u request for transfer to CSC? just curious.

Actually, I didn't request a transfer. I was really surprised when I got the notification it was transfered, so I called in to USCIS. The lady I spoke with sounded surprised too. She asked me if I had changed address for it to be transfered and I told her that I didn't.

229 days a little under 8 months.

I work for the VA and our claims process is very similar in structure to that of the USCIS. A veteran that puts his claim in for benefits will have to wait and wait and wait until the VA gets to it. But the most important thing is that if we have the claim marked as received its good to go, just a matter of waiting. Its rare that whole claims are lost.. although it does happen. I'm sure you'll get your NOA2 anytime now.

p.s. it's no big deal but, you might wanna fix a couple of the dates in your signature...it seems you sent off your i-130 petition before you got married...now thats thinking ahead....lol....

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
