Hello

I'll have my Interview in November.

Does anybody have experiences with the Interview in Chicago?

I'm still waiting for my work permission.

I'm on the lease and utility bills and I joint his bank account.

Is it bad that we have no insurance or car?

We can't afford it until I have a job. (We have a joint'sponsor)

I'm really nervous.

Don't stress so much, all they need is a couple pieces of paperwork to prove you are living as a couple. We had both our names on the lease and utility bills and joint bank account, that's it. Hubby did not have any health insurance at the time of the interview. My hubby still doesn't know how to drive so nothing there either! We got approved fine and so will you don't worry.

Hello

I'll have my Interview in November.

Does anybody have experiences with the Interview in Chicago?

i am waiting for the interview as well...

what I can tell you for now, there is a huge problem with parking around there..

you can, however, take an L train blue line to LaSalle St..

the south side exit from the station is right into the USCIS office..

where you will be coming from?

I thought there was a garage behind the building, is it usually full? We want to drive there for our interview. Is is really such a big problem with the parking?

yes there is a garage for $18 if remember well, but usually full after 8am.

in my opinion the easiest way is to take the blue line, as I said you get out of the station straight in front of USCIS office, just across the sidewalk.

all depends where you are coming from.

from the northwest subs like myself it is much easier to park let's say at I-90 & Cumberland "park & Ride" and take the train.

parkin $2 for up to 12 hours, train fare $2, not driving on Kennedy in the traffic - priceless! ;)
