I thought id share this information. They (USCIS) claim to already do background checks on people receiving immigration benefits, why the delay then? i think i already grew 2 years older this past week... my first strand of white hair. if this whole USCIS still needs to figure out what they need to do drags on for long, ill probably following taylor hick's look

PS. i guess amnesty will be granted to illegal immigrants ... it has passed the first round of the approval stage. i think it's congress... GREAT!!! JUST GREAT!!!!!!!!

IMBRA though is regarding the petitioner not the beneficiary. The Act requires background checks for things such as criminal history and multiple filings of petitions.
