Hi, just wondering if anyone has info for me. My fiance is in England and with all this imbra ####### going on we were wondering if he could come over and visit me for a couple of weeks. What evidence does he need to bring with him that proves he is returning to England? Also what are the chances that he could be denied? Any info will be helpful. thanks

Hi! My fiance is also in England and we're doing all this and he just came to visit in April. Basically the most important thing is to have a copy of the return ticket with you (like your receipt) and also bring along some/all of the follow:

Letter from employer stating that he's a fulltime employee expected back on xxx date.

Lease or mortgage

Car insurance

Etc.

Anything that proves he has ties to the UK and that he will be going back. My fiance travelled with the return ticket and the letter from his boss and he got in just fine. Just tell him to be relaxed and answer all their questions honestly and calmly and hopefully he'll be ok. If you have any more indepth questions feel free to pm me or pcraddy (that would be the man himself  )

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!
