DS-230 Urgent question

Loto's guide says to submit two original affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship of Petitioner and Beneficiary.

I haven't submitted the affidavits with I-130. Do I need to submit these affidavits with DS-230?

Anybody has a sample affidavit which I could use for reference. I have read this guide many times before but just missed this part.

Please advise. Thanks.

Thankyou happy for quick response. One question, did you submit the affidavits during I-130 filing?

No You don't have to do that. I did not do that and I did not get any RFE's. Good luck.

I only sent one affidavit of a friend of mines who was also there during the wedding. Since we did not have accounts together or anything together here because he never was here, I just submitted that as a secondary evidence. I talked to a USCIS rep before I mailed the packet off to confirm because on the instructions it states that I needed two affidavits but I only have one and the rep said it was ok and I never got an RFE from USCIS.

The instructions on the DS230 doesn't state that one has to get an affidavit only documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, police record, and copy of passport bio page which I also had to confirm with NVC rep and she said that was all that they needed. Hope that helps.

we did not summit anything either like that. dont really think it is nessary

When I sent in my I-130 I DID include two papers one each from her brother and sister that attended the wedding and all they stated was that they verified our wedding and put their names and addresses on the papers like the instructions say to do! I think if you have people who can do this for you that it would be good to have more than enough needed. Take care and good luck
