Yes, it is finally moving FOR YOU: good for you!

I guess that we should consider saying we have severe stress due to financial hardships: with a 5 figure income, we cannot afford a yatch!

Ok, Mr. Obvious, of course it moves with expedites. I'm saying that VSC is finally moving because they approved our expedite. No questions asked. No evidence needed. One simple phone call and a few days later they granted it no problem. My reason was severe financial loss. It was surprising that they approved the expedite without any evidence or anything. That's why I said VSC is finally moving.

It ALWAYS moved with expedites. People were approved in as little as 2 weeks..

You can say it moves when people WITHOUT expedites get approved, and they are not getting approved.

Our cases were both approved TODAY, 09-26-08 at Vermont!!!

We requested expedited processing on our I-130 petition tuesday of last week, and the expedited processing was approved last friday. (3 days after the request)

VSC is moving since we got extremely lucky for our case to be expedited. I didn't expect them to approve the request, so I have hope for people still waiting. It can't be much longer. Good luck to everyone, and just remember that this whole wait is definitely worth it at the end.

I agree with Charisma...it's gonna close with f'ing 7 months and no approval or touch here...I was really optimistic once I passed the 6 month mark, but I still so many people before me still pending...so essentially I've lost hope and will be relieved once early March filers like Charisma and Wisdom are approved...

Hello,

My husband is an US citizen at New Jersey.I am an Indian. We got married in Jan 2007.He filed I130 in March 2007.We got the NOA in May 2007.Till date we have not recieved anything from them after this. After waiting for about an year he has filed I129F i.e application for K3 .In May 2008 we have got NOA (I-797).Receipt of the I129F.Can someone say how long it will still take our process to complete.

What else we should do?Is there something more to be done?He also visited India this year.Any suggestions please help. Can anyone say whatever we have done is correct or not?Why US people are taking years together to process spouse visas?

Please advice what to do to stay together as this is going to be another anniversary in Jan 2009. :crying:

you are outside the processing times posted by USCIS. your husband should call them and let them know about this. your I-130 should've been approved a long time ago if your husband was US citizen when he first filed it.

Mariana y Pablo... could you tell me which number you called to request the expedite? My husband tried calling the 1800 number, but he said he was "lost" in the menu. He didn't know where he could request the expedite. He even tried to go to "change of adress" so a real person would talk to him, but the lines were busy.

If you could tell us, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
