I do the cooking. He does the grilling outside.

I don't cook everyday. On weekends I'll cook for both of us, on week days I'll either not cook at all or I'll cook something healthy, so i wind up cooking only for myself cuz he never wants any of the healthy stuff or not cooking at all, and he either has milk, cereal, hot pockets, sandwiches, things like that.

Of course things will change with the baby, i'll have to cook for the child everyday. But for now, we both work, I come home tired, call me selfish, but if I feel like cooking, I'll cook something for me to eat, he can have it if he wants, what I won't do is cook something just for him because he has to eat, hes an adult, he can feed himself,

There is no designated "cook". It is the person that desires to prepare the food that particular day.

We met online... my profile clearly stated... "If you love to cook, I love to eat" (I'm the immigrant).

My husband does love to cook, but I only work part-time, so I cook most of the time (for practical reasons). He cooks exclusively when we travel with our trailer and he cooks a lot of weekends at home.

He's the better cook, though. I HATE COOKING!!!!!!

My husband and I love to cook. He loves to cook stir fry, baking and grilling. I love to cook anything. He will eat whatever I prepare on the table. He is not picky. Whenever he is cooking, I am his helper. I prepared the vegetables and cut the meat for him and he will finish the rest. If it is grilling, he will season chicken, pork or steak and in my part, I will prepare the dining table for us.

I'm the cook of the house, although once in a while my husband does the cooking too. I remember last week he cooked and he burned the brand new pan we got. It makes me so upset that i cried while im cleaning it..:D

When he saw me crying he told me that the pan is lucky to have me because i love the pan more than him :P

My husband does the cooking most of the time. But I do the dishes and the cleaning. I am a lousy cook and he doesn't like my cooking :crying:

I work 6/7 evenings a week, so never cook. Hubby will cook for himself.

And I don't get home from work until 8:30-9:30pm, so it's usually a Hardees/White Castle/McDonald's/Taco Bell night for me. Can't figure out why I've gotten so fat lately.....

Even on the days we have off together, neither Mags or I cook; as in cook a meal for the whole family. Her schedule is all wacked, so I'm getting ready for lunch while she's eating breakfast. The only time we eat together these days is if we go out. That's been happening less and less too, thanks to the wonderful economy.

On the plus side, I've discovered the joy of Trader Joe's. Best grocery store ever! All kinds of foods with no ####### - no HFCS, no artificial flavours/colours, etc. Not *too* expensive, either.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

My husband does not cook - he did not cook before I came here. When he calls one of the chinese take out to call in his order they always say "We know you. Are you ordering the usual?". That or fast food or mom's left over.

I do most of the cooking - he can grill. I enjoy cooking most of the time although it's never anything fancy.

My husband cooks (the USC). But mostly because he's also the picky eater...

I (the USC wife) do most of the cooking, but that's mainly because I get home from work at 4pm and can plan and prepare things beforehand, while he comes home anywhere from 6-7pm. The dishes are mainly done by him, but sometimes I do the dishes I use to cook with before we even eat (we're weird like that). However, before my husband could work, we split the cooking quite a bit and he did most of the cleaning. I like to cook, and he likes to eat my cooking so it works for us. Since I do most of the cooking now, I keep things healthy even though my husband has the metabolism of a hyperactive 5-year-old and never gains a pound, but we just look and feel better when we eat healthy.
