June 15, 2007 Confirmed on usps.com that VSC has received packet

June 29, 2007 Check cashed by USCIS (hey they opened my packet!)

June 30, 2007 Received NOA1

July 7, 2007 I130 touched

July 9, 2007 I130 touched

Aug. 24, 2007 I130 touched

Aug. 26, 2007 I130 touched (stop feeling up my husband's case and get him over here, yala!)

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!

The pics of the palistinians with the israeli soldiers at the checkpoint remind me of Ramadan last year when I was in Palestine. Many times, gunfire would go off at prayer time. It was even sadder on eid because that night I could not sleep at all. And at prayer time, I heard a duet of 4 mosques blasting out the adhan, wild dogs going crazy barking, and gun shots. It was depressing to me because I thought to myself how Muslims are not suppsoed to kill each other, especially during holiday. And certainly not on their way to prayer! But I also got to thinking about the bravery that the people had to go to the mosque knowing the risk of being shot. It makes you think what lengths people around the world must go to to be able to do whatever religious duties they may feel the obligation to do!
