On sept 11th the embassy in Kingston returned a response to my email requesting a date to drop off the ds230 stating

"Dear Madam

Our system is showing that we have not yet received this case file as

yet from National Visa Center.

Kingston IV"

I contacted the DOS today, and they told me that the embassy DOES have the case and that packet 3 was sent sept 7th. What's going on?

I sent the ds230 via fed ex a couple days ago...do you think this is enough to get the interview date set, or should I try to schedule a date for my SO to drop it off? He lives on the other side of the island so it is a huge pain for him to go to Kingston...I don't want to send him unless I have to.

Do they show they have the DS-230? If so, I would wait for another week and see if their system catches up. They are notoriously slow in this.

Sending him with the DS-230 (after you make an appointment for this) will do little if they show the file isn't there yet.

OK! They are acknowledging that they actually have the case now and say that they have just sent packet three today, even though the DOS says they sent it the 7th! At least this is a little progress...

Will the DOS know if the embassy got the ds230? I guess I will call them and find out...I tracked it in the fed ex website and know that it arrived, but I don't know if they just tossed it or what...

Do you guys know a link to the instruction forms they send with packet three? I have all of the forms...I am just looking for the letter they send with it to make sure I am not missing anything...And I am wondering if I sent the ds230 to the wrong address. I sent it to 142 old hope road...the address I got off of the internet, but I wonder if that is the best place to send it
