The London embassy received our case on 12th May, they have told me that they sent out packet 3 on 21st May which was Sunday which seems strange, but i still haven`t received it. I have called them and emailed them, they are going to send me out a new packet next week. Has anybody else waited that long to receive it....5 days seems a long time in the mail.

They tell pork pies a lot LOL Told me mine was sent out on 21st when i received the package the letter was dated the 23rd and posted on the 24th!. They definately do not work on Sundays LOL

This is a prime example of why I downloaded the papers and sent them in as soon as I knew they had my case from NVC, and it only took them 4 days to send my packet 3 out - it got held up over the bankholiday weekend.

I hope this does not delay you too much.

Do you think that it would be alright to send in the downloaded forms before i receive packet 3 or should i wait until i get the checklist, i think that i read somewhere that they will not issue an interview date without the checklist be returned to them.

I sent in downloaded forms, and also downloaded the Notification of Aplicant Readiness from the embassy website. It's a little different from the one that arrives in the packet, but hey.........it worked for me. (If you are worried about this, you can always send in the up-to-date copy when you receive it.) Be sure to include the electronic DS156 with the barcode.

Just as it says, means you have all your documents and are ready for interview. Nothing for you to worry about, you have already submitted your packet 3, and you would have been sent a form with a checklist so that you could notify the embassy when you have collated all your documents for interview. It's the same thing.
