I'm just wondering, my hubby told me i would have to go to Toronto to do my interview :S..when the times comes? i dunno if this is true or if someone was just playing around with him.. i would think that all embassy would be able to handle Interviews not just specific ones?.. just saying. it doesn't make sense to me that all in canada..toronto is the one.

i love near ottawa..so when my interview dates comes wouldn't they make it from the ottawa embassy?

hey Tantan

I'm 99.9% certain that you will have to go to Montreal. There is a consulate in Toronto, however I dont believe they conduct sponsorship interviews. From my understanding, they process visitiors visa's only. Hope this helps.

I-130 re-submitted 05-22-2009

June 3rd 2009 - Rec Hardcopy NOA 1

June 5th 2009 - Touched

August 21 2009 - Touched

August 24 2009 - APPROVED - NOA 2

Sept 1st 2009 - NVC Rec - Case # assigned

Hey Tantan,

I'm a bit confused. Your timeline has form I-129 only. Are you guys married ? Because then you will have to fill out the form I-130 wait until you rec the NOA 1 then u can submit the I-129F along with a copy of the NOA 1 to process a K3 visa (entering USA as non-immigrant spouse) then you will have some more paperwork to fill up when you get there.

Now if you only fill out the I-129F - this is for a fiance visa (non-immigrant visa) and then get married in the states, then you will have to full out the rest of the forms to complete the green card process.

It all depends if you want to enter the USA with a green card (cr-1/Ir-1) with nothing elsed to complete until your conditions are ready to be lifted.

OR you enter as a non-immigrant/fiancee with intentions to marry you fiance and complete the paperwork there.

Either way the paperwork like I said earlier will be going to the MOntreal office for the interview.

Hopes this help

I just re-read everything, now even more confused,...i'm not sponsoring, i'm the one moving to the US, to be with my fiance.

and my question was too know for the address, 'cause i can't seem to find information and the call centre..apparently now does not allow me to ask questions..they just hang up on me.

It's on a need to know basis, i don't want to put the false information down, this is really irritating when no one wants to be helpful -sighs-

and i never asked to know what else there is to fill out.. i just need to know what Embassy deals with the interviews for the fiance visa..that's all...i don't need a what paperwork to fill out and what not...nothing has been filed out or sent..i just need a direct answer from someone who actually knows 100% someone who did the interview..WHERE did you go? is that so hard, honestly.

if you don't know..you don't need to answer.

thank you

Please, break that habit until such time that it is a true fact.

You can put Ottawa or Toronto or Montreal... The NVC will assign it to the appropriate consulate that has jurisdiction based on where you live... which appears to be Montreal
