hello,

Just curious, after Port of Entry...how many days my wife have to wait to apply for her Social Security Card? or can she go to SS office the next day to do it? This is a CR1 visa by the way..

im guessing you didnt check the box to have a social security card sent to you automatically. i didnt either lol we went 3 days after arrival with no problem. you can apply as soon as you want. we recieved our ssn one week after applying....now were just waiting on his 2 yr green card. good luck!
