After waiting 6 months for the USICS to process my Fiance petition, I know find out that I might have to wait another 2-4 months for the national visa center to just send my petition to Guangzhou? This seems like a insane about of time for a simple mailing, Has anyone contacted their congressman and got the process sped up? Why are they not addressing this issue?

NVC is likely to send your petition to GUZ within a few days of receiving it. GUZ however, will take delivery of the package when they're ready to deal with more cases. In the meantime, they use DHL's customs warehouse as storage. Yes, two to four months from NVC out to P3.

agreed that GUZ is molasses. they handle more visas than any other consulate in the world, and are staffed largely with chinese who can't get a visa to US, so...

patience, grasshopper. NVC to packet 3 is 2-4 months. you'll get there.
