I spoke with the USCIS and they told me they are only working on petitions filed in February. Any petition filed after February has not been approved. I guess every one here who filed after February and say they have been approved are lying.

What did you expect from an agency who used the excuse, "the increase in processing fees would add additional personnel, and give us better and faster service?" That was one of the oldest tricks in the books in order to give themselves a pay raise, without having to ask Washington for it.

as a matter of fact, our checks were processed faster than our application  , and then once paid, they put most of us on the back burner...after all, there's more processing fees pouring in so what's the hurry

I knew they were all lying. HA!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

The sad thing is, if you look at older timelines, it would seem they got even slower. You can see timelines from 2006 being approved in 3 months time from the CSC, currently it would seem were up to 5 months.... =/
