Strange, everything enumerated is the argument AGAINST her being Veep.

I think I may have followed her to school today. Speeding through the school zone endangering everyone's children. Blindingly pulling out in front of someone on the way out.

What a weird article. None of it has much of anything to do with how Sarah Palin actually is, only how the author imagines her to be.

I'm not even sure exactly how she has "energized" the Republican party either - certainly not in any tangible way... You don't really get that from a convention speech, and the limited number of television interviews she deigned to do.

Given the "Messiah" references aimed at Obama and his supporters, I suppose I'm a little surprised to see almost the exact same thing going on here. Nothing this woman has done in the last few weeks seems to suggest that she has a plan for turning the country around (certainly not more than anyone else)- all we have is a mythologised image that has been created by the party marketing types, and which has been fed by people who want to believe it.
