Hello everyone. I stumbled upon this site today as I was looking for help with the K-1 process. My boyfriend and I have finally decided to get married and we want to do it asap. I am 23 from Florida and he will be 26 this year and lives in the UK. We met over the internet when I was only 18 and we've been together since I was 20. Since then he has been visiting me and I made the trip over the big pond for the first time this year. I can't wait to really start my life with him. And I'm excited that I found a forum of people who can all relate to what I'm going to be going through. Wish us luck!

Welcome to VJ! (F) As you'll no doubt find, this site is great, full of fab info and very helpful people. If you are serious about applying for a visa, be prepared to wait...and wait...and wait... seriously, everything else seems a piece of cake in comparison to this infernal waiting. Sometimes I wish I could be put to sleep for the next 4/6/8 months till they are ready for the interview...this waiting is seriously driving me bananas ;) But as we are all in the same boat, you'll always find an understanding shoulder to cry on :). Good luck on your journey.
