I am very nervous, my CR1 visa interview is set for October 30, 2008 at the Guyana Embassy. This is our second try to get a visa my K1 visa was denied.

My first husband and I were separated but not divorced when he got a holiday visa in 2005 to the united states he went and never came back. After he got the holiday visa he filed for a divorce and left me and my daughter to fend for ourselves. I met a wonderful man a USC and the friendship started as a chat relationship which eventually led to a love relationship. We decided to get married in Feb 2006. At my first K1 interview we did not have much evidence of relationship and that case was denied. It was denied based on the fact that we got married before AP review was complete. We got married in March 2007

My husband filed I 130 petition and I will be going for my CR1 interview next month on the 23rd. We have very few pictures with us together and that is inclusive of our wedding pictures, his telephone bills and I try to get a print out of calls I made at internet cafe to him, he filed taxes as married person and me as his spouse, we rented an apartment with both of our names on the lease. He has included me in both his dental and medical plans. We have a bank account together (my account which was opened in 1996 and I included his name on it as a joint holder) Although I work part-time he sends me money every month to help pay bills ect. I have all of those western union receipts and it span more than 2 years.

Is that evidence of relationship that I will be taking with me or will query the relationship with me and my first husband, note I have not had any communications with him for the past 2 years. child support payments are done through his mother.

My husband called me on September 16, 2008 and told me that I was scheduled for October. This is what happened in my case - USCIS approved my case in November 18, 2007 and sent it over to the NVC. When we got the DS 3032 (Agent form) it was then we realized that my daughter was not going to come with me and that was in February 2008. So I called the Guyana embassy and they told me that this category does not allow for derivative and my daughter would be left behind and advised that my husband file another I 130 for her immediately so that is what we did. My husband then called the USCIS and wrote a letter and asked for expedite service so that both of our cases would be processed together. USCIS did grant expedite service and my daughter petition was approved in March 2008 and went over to the NVC and finished the review process in July 2008. In my case NVC finished the review process in June 2008. They have merged both cases which is set the appointment for visa interview October 30, 2008.

I think they schedule these cases one month ahead of time and it is done the second week in every month. So you have to keep calling the NVC to find out. Our appointment letter came today in the mail. I am so excited.
