My spouse will have to take evidence of relationship to the embassy for interview like emails, phone records, wedding pics, regular pics...etc. Now, I have only few regular pictures (restaurant visit, etc.)...I didn't bother to take a camera everywhere we went during my trip to India...( i know i should have...). However, bigger problem is that we didn't get to go to our honeymoon because of my wife's ongoing internship; she only had 7 days vacation for entire wedding....Embassy routinely asks for honeymoon pictures and also asks interviewee where did you go to honeymoon?....I am totally stumped what I should do if my spouse gets asked these questions....I am affraid now that this may cause problems for her in getting visa...

what do you folks think I should do???

thanks for your help....

Your wife should be honest in the interview and say that you didn't go on a honeymoon. If they ask why, she can tell them about the restrictions because of her internship.

I've read many CR-1 interview reviews where they don't ask about honeymoons--now that may be different given the Consulate you are working with.

By the way, my husband and I didn't go on a honeymoon either. Hopefully we'll be able to do that soon!

good luck!

I wouldn't worry about the honeymoon. Just be honest, as another poster said. Certainly COs will understand such things. My kids didn't go on a honeymoon. He came back to the states three days after they were married.

Hi CS,

We even didn't go for our honeymoon yet, so we were thinking along those thoughts as you are right now.. But when my husband went for the interview, officer asked to show the pictures (didn't specify). So my husband showed regular pictures of us went for religious occasion and some pictures just of us both together.. went fine.. nothing to worry about.. If they do ask, just be honest and say the right answer.... Good Luck..

I agree with what everyone has said, just be honest. I was only in Nigeria for three weeks. So we couldn't do a honeymoon in that short time. It should go fine, as long as all of your paper work was legit and handled correctly, I believe you will be dancing and celebrating with us all!
