If you want to follow both K3 and CR1 path, let's say the K-3 date is there but your CR1 process is still ongoing at NVC.

1) Is is OK if you cancel the K-3 interview? Will it have any adverse effect on your case?

2) You cannot continue with K-3 interview anyways because all the originals are with NVC. Is this correct?

Please advise.

Get more originals. You probably need them "down the line" anyway.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Since you have an interview date, you can contact the embassy and ask them to send a request for your CR-1 to be completed at the embassy.

Whereas it was previously thought that the case would need to be completed at NVC, you may contact the embassy at any time (now that they have your K-3).

The fact that this is possible does not mean it will be a reality at every embassy....they make/change the rules as they see fit...from day to day.

Good Luck

...the journey continues.
