This is off topic, but you know what is a little strange to me?

Our AOS application was received in Chicago a week ago, and still the check hasn't been cashed. Isn't that the first thing they do when they receive they receive a petition? Doesn't Uncle Sam need our $1,010 ??:unsure:

Thankfully I got paid. That'd suck if it hadn't been direct deposited! My rent, my car, my student loans, all come out directly the same day as the deposit.

I was paid at 0120 Thursday morning... as normal.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
